We have been looking for a chewy chocolate chip cookie for a long time. This one actually stays chewy. Most cookies I find after a couple days become firm. The recipe comes from Elton Brown. It is called The Chewy . Loved this recipe. You do have to do each step to achieve the cookie you wish to have.

I'm a chewy CCC fan as well; let the others have their crispy cookies, I say. I'm saving this to try soon. YUM. Thank you for sharing a delicious post.

I love chocolate chip cookies and used to try at least one new recipe a week. Too hot in the summer for me but the boys regret it that I've stopped. Must try this...pray for rain on the west side of Canada! Grin.
